1. Scope of validity

1.1 Räber Information Management GmbH (hereinafter RIM) op-erates the map.search.ch website. The present special conditions govern the use of map.search.ch. and must be read in conjunction with the general conditions of use.

2. Services of RIM

2.1 Content

map.search.ch makes an interactive map of Switzerland with additional information functions (hereinafter services) available to users (hereinafter users).

2.2 Rights of use for own purposes

RIM grants the user a non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use the services for his own purposes. This use does not entitle the user to grant sub-licences.

2.3 API access

RIM can make an access by interface (Application Pro-gramming Interface, API) available to the user for the use of map.search.ch.

RIM reserves the right to block API access of a user at any time without prior announcement. For example, if the user breaches these conditions of use or exceeds a number of accesses defined by RIM.

Above a number of accesses defined by RIM, RIM may charge a fee for use via the API.

2.4 Indication of source

For all forms of use of the services, map.search.ch must be indicated in a clearly visible manner as the source.

The user may not delete, conceal or alter any references to author's rights, copyright, logos and other references which are illustrated or otherwise contained in the services.

2.5 Quality

RIM endeavours to provide services which are as complete and topical as possible, but cannot give any guarantee in this regard.

3. Obligations of the user

3.1 Lawful use

The user undertakes to utilize the services offered on map.search.ch in an entirely lawful manner, having regard, in particular, to data protection legislation. The user notes that contents, information, presentations, designs and data for the services are protected by law.

3.2 Prohibited processing

The user is prohibited, in particular, from using contents, in-formation, presentations, designs and data or services as a sole or partial basis for the production of similar or identical presentations, information and services.

Services and the information and data on which they are based shall not be disclosed to third parties in either un-changed or modified form.

4. Warranty and liability

4.1 All liability of RIM and its data suppliers in respect of the use of map.search.ch is excluded. Binding provisions of law are, however, reserved.
